I've just started a new diet (oh what else is new?). I'm trying to reduce my carb intake...and guess what can I think about all day long?
That's right. Carbs.
My cravings need an outlet.
Since I can't eat, or photograph, or even stare at my old carb-tastic photographs in fear of going crazy, I decided to sketch my carb cravings. I will post what I crave from time to time under this

really cute illustrations! not craving anything now as i have made white choc mousse & baked some oatmeal choc-chips apricots cookies on tuesday, and i'm living on those supplies now ^^ if i don't eat any carb, i'll feel hungry all day long. maybe it's psychological.

ReplyDeleteI have been low-carb now for several years. I do fall off the wagon occasionally but have to force myself to get back on it. The secret is to fill yourself up with protein cos that fills up the tummy the longest; think hard-boiled eggs, greek yogurt, nuts, cheese, meat, tofu, legumes. When dining out, focus on meat and vegt. Quite difficult to do when having Chinese food or Italian or having curry!

ReplyDeleteI love indo mie goreng...I especially miss the indo mie goreng with half boiled egg from the road side stand in Jakarta. For some reason, I can never replicate the way the hawkers do it.
