Extraordinary Breads! BO-LO’GNE Café & Bar, LCX, Ocean Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

Bologne Cafe
How many times have I heard good words, poetry, hymns and praises for Cafe BO-LO’GNE's amazing breads? Too many!
I just found it a teeny bit unbelievable. I thought...could bread be that good? Really?
Really, really, really?
Really.
Trust me.
They're that good.

Like how? Like what?
Imagine the softest, fluffiest, butteriest bread you've ever had.
Now multiply that by 10.
Plus a bit of subtle sweetness.
If I was artistic, I would've sung praises, written poems and hymns about the bread. But I am no artist.
So here's my verdict = YUMMY TO THE MAX!

Best bread ever + crispy, juicy and tasty deep fried spicy chicken + creamy dressing = AMAZING

Don't listen to me, and my photograph didn't do it justice. Go experience it yourself :)

Bologne Cafe
We've also ordered Japanese style Napolitana spaghetti with bread and butter on the side. The pasta was nicely cooked, reasonably tasty, yada-yada-yada, but again, it's all about the bread. So, stick with the bread.

The iced green tea was light and slightly sweet. Very nice.

The yakult lemon was very tart. It was too tart even for SC, the tart maniac. But what do you expect? I could feel the sourness even from the name :)

Bologne Cafe
The two dishes didn't fill these two big eaters, so we also ordered something sweet. I was very disappointed to learn that the chocolate french toast wasn't available, I'm so gonna try that another time. We ended up ordering banana caramel toast, which was delish. Sweet, soft and creamy banana with sticky and rich caramel, on (sorry, I can't stop saying it) the most amazing bread ever :D

At HK$248 for two, it's a bit pricey, but for bread that amazing, I think it's worth it.
BO-LO’GNE Café & Bar
I didn't realize that they've just opened this joint when I visited. The place is really nice and comfy, huge windows overlooking beautiful harbour view, a row of window side seats, which are perfect for dining alone, just like that girl at the corner. Plus, my priorities when selecting a place to dine is different now. Is it baby stroller friendly? Is it near a changing/nursery room? Yes and yes.

Going back there again soon.

PS. I thought my blog name is already quite a handful to spell, but try spelling BO-LO'GNE :D
