Please excuse the ugly photos.
I just had a bit of a "huh???!!" moment at the supermarket, when I was buying my favorite instant noodle soup, the Nongshim kimchi ramyun.
Buy 5 packs HK$20.9...
And...
...or buy 5 in a pack for HK$24.50 (!!)
...from the same supermarket!
The value pack is more expensive than the loose packs?
I wonder if anybody still bought the value packs...
That is...the opposite of everything I've ever been taught about retail.
ReplyDeleteu shud check where the nongshim noodle is made. in indo, there are 2 types, made in korea or made in china. china's is half the price of korea's
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely an opportunity not to be missed.
ReplyDeleteOur favorite...here in Houston, it's US15 for a box of 20,yum!
ReplyDeleteSometimes pricing can be so weird! :O
ReplyDeleteBut I do agree with dr.B about the country of production!!!! It makes the difference.
Well maybe that's an old stock they are trying to promo because it's nearing its expiration date. Now you mentioned about it I'll definitely make one for our Korean Night before I get my Food Safety Training.
